Following this week’s updates by the government, the club has taken direction from the EFL and public health authorities ahead of Saturday’s game against Cambridge United at The Valley.
The Valley is recognised as an outdoor venue. Based on the guidelines in place, fans attending Saturday’s game can choose to wear masks but are not required to.
With Covid passports set to be implemented from December 15th, the club are awaiting further guidelines about any potential impacts to matchdays. Once the club has received those guidelines, we will communicate any updated procedures and processes to supporters.
For supporters that are attending Saturday’s game, we are expecting to Fill The Valley and supporters are advised to arrive at the stadium at least 45 minutes ahead of kick-off.
Based on feedback from recent games, supporters are advised not to take pictures of tickets on their phones to use to enter the stadium as the ticket reader struggle to read them.
