Charlton Athletic are thrilled to announce the signing of 18-year-old Corinne Henson on a one-year contract.
Henson joins Karen Hills’ side following her departure from Watford, after the Hertfordshire club were relegated in the 2021/22 campaign.
The talented winger came through the ranks of Arsenal’s illustrious academy, where she signed on a dual-registration contract between the Gunners and Watford for the 2021/22 season.
In her first interview as an Addick, Henson shared her excitement: "I am absolutely delighted to be here and I am grateful for the opportunity.
"Charlton fans can expect to see versatility from me - being able to play anywhere along the flank. I want to contribute defensively but also attacking-wise and I believe I bring a lot of technical ability too."
Addicks Head Coach Karen Hills shared her joy with the news. She said: "I am delighted to have Corinne here at Charlton. She is a young player who possesses a lot of desire and energy. She will fit in really well with the rest of the squad and we are all very excited to see what she can achieve going forward."
The deal is subject to FA approval.
