Charlton Athletic are thrilled to announce the signing of Tegan McGowan on a two-year deal.
The 18-year-old was part of the Chelsea academy during her youth career before moving into the Blues' first-team set up at the age of 17.
McGowan has also been capped by Wales at U19 level and impressively netted on her debut.
In her first interview as an Addick, McGowan shared how delighted she is to be joining the south London side: “I am excited to get started, to meet the girls and be in the squad this season. I am a versatile player that can play on the left or the right side of the pitch, and you will hopefully see goals and assists from me.”
Head Coach Karen Hills also shared her excitement of bringing the young forward into the Addicks' ranks. She said: "It is great to have brought Tegan in here at Charlton. She was impressive during her youth career at Chelsea with her direct, attacking playing style and I am excited to see what she can achieve here with Charlton."
The signing of Tegan McGowan is subject to FA approval.
