Poppy Soper signed for the Addicks in 2022 after a dual-registration agreement between Plymouth Argyle and WSL Chelsea.

Soper signed her first professional contract upon arriving at Charlton, penning a two-year deal.

Under dual-registration, she was able to continue picking experience in the Women's National League Southern Premier Division with Argyle whilst also training with the first team at Chelsea.

The 20-year-old shot-stopper is a regular in the Wales international team and was part of the Dragons’ team that competed in the 2022 Pinatar Cup.

Soper joined FA Women's National League South Side Ipswich Town on a season-long loan in July 2023.
