Panutche Camará joined Charlton in July 2023, arriving on a season-long loan from Championship side Ipswich Town.

The midfielder, who is capable of operating in various positions in midfield, began his youth career in Portugal with Loures and Vitória de Guimarães before joining Barnsley’s academy.

He moved to Dulwich Hamlet in 2017 and, after scoring four goals in 15 outings for the non-League side, earned a move to Crawley Town.

Following three seasons with the Red Devils, which saw him amass 118 appearances and net seven times, Camará signed for Plymouth.

While at Home Park, he made his international debut for Guinea-Bissau in an Africa Cup of Nations clash against Sudan in January 2022 and claimed his first international goal in a friendly with Equatorial Guinea two months later.

Camará established himself at League One level during his two years in Devon, where he featured 95 times, scored 10 goals and registered 10 assists to earn a move to Ipswich in September 2022 for an undisclosed fee.

He was part of the Ipswich squad that earned promotion to the Championship in 2022/23.
