Highly-rated midfielder Terry Taylor joined the Addicks in July 2023 from Burton Albion for an undisclosed fee.

Born in Irvine, Taylor began his career in his native Scotland with Aberdeen, who he joined in 2009, and played much of his youth football with the Dons before moving to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2017.

He made his first-team debut for Wolves against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup in October 2019.

Taylor joined Grimsby Town on loan in 2020, making 16 games for the League Two outfit. He signed for Burton in 2021 where he impressed, playing 65 games for the club.
