Rarmani Edmonds-Green joined the Addicks from Huddersfield Town in January 2024.

Born in Peckham, Edmonds-Green began his career at the Nike Academy before joining Huddersfield on his 17th birthday in January 2016.

The centre-back was named captain of Huddersfield’s U18s side in his first full season in west Yorkshire, before moving up to the U23s in early 2017. Edmonds-Green immediately became an ever-present starter for Town’s Development Squad.

In April 2018, he was named Defender of the Tournament after leading the young Terriers to a fourth-place finish in the U19 Champions Trophy in Düsseldorf.

Having gained his first taste of senior football at Brighouse Town, who he helped win the Northern Premier League Division One East play-offs, the defender made his professional debut in Huddersfield’s EFL Cup tie against Lincoln City in August 2019.

After impressing on loan with National League side Bromley, Edmonds-Green was recalled by the Terriers and made his league debut in a 1-0 victory at The Valley in December 2019.

The versatile defender subsequently joined Swindon Town on loan for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign, culminating in the Robins being crowned League Two champions.

That form saw the Terriers reward Edmonds-Green with 24 Championship appearances during the following season.

He was loaned to Rotherham United for the 2021/22 campaign and became an immediate hit with supporters, featuring 38 times, scoring three goals and registering assists as the Millers won automatic promotion to the Championship and lifted the EFL Trophy.

Edmonds-Green spent the first half of the 2022/23 season on loan at then-Championship outfit Wigan Athletic, before returning to Huddersfield where he went on to make eight appearances under Neil Warnock who helped the Terriers retain their Championship status.

The defender earned 16 appearances for Huddersfield in the first half of the 2023/24 campaign.
