Player Biography

Amari'i Bell joined the Addicks in the summer of 2025 following the expiration of his contract at Luton Town.

Born in Burton-upon-Trent, Bell joined Birmingham City’s academy in 2011 and enjoyed his first taste of senior football during a loan stint at Nuneaton Town. After making his Championship debut for Blues in 2014, he enjoyed further loan spells at Kidderminster Harriers, Mansfield Town, Swindon Town and Gillingham before making a permanent move to Fleetwood Town.

It was at the Cod Army where Bell was able to establish himself, making 137 appearances for the club across three seasons and earning himself a move to Blackburn Rovers during their 2017/18 promotion-winning campaign. The defender was also named in the PFA League One Team of the Year that season.

The versatile left-sided defender swiftly adapted to the Championship and joined Nathan Jones’ Luton in 2021, playing an important part in their promotion to the Premier League in 2022/23. He played 157 games for the Hatters in total, including 21 top-flight appearances.

Bell's first international cap for Jamaica came in 2021 against the USA and he scored his international goal at the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
