Player Biography

Rob Apter joined Charlton in July 2025, arriving from Blackpool for an undisclosed fee.

Born in Liverpool, Apter began his youth career at Tranmere Rovers before joining Blackpool, where he made his senior debut in November 2020.

The wideman recorded an assist on his Championship bow - a 5-0 win away to Wigan Athletic in 2021 - before enjoying a series of successful loan spells, the latter of which saw him named EFL League Two Young Player of the Season after contributing 13 goals and six assists for Tranmere.

Apter, who has represented Scotland at youth level and was most recently capped by their U21s, scored eight goals and provided eight assists for Blackpool during the 2024/25 campaign.
