Player Biography

Harry Clarke joined the Addicks in January 2026, arriving on loan from fellow Sky Bet Championship outfit Ipswich Town.

The Ipswich-born defender began his career with his hometown club before joining Arsenal in 2015.

After signing a professional contract with the Gunners in 2018, he gained senior experience during a series of loan spells at Oldham Athletic, Ross County, Hibernian and Stoke City.

Following an impressive start to the 2022/23 campaign with the Potters, Clarke rejoined Ipswich for an undisclosed fee and immediately played a valuable role in the Tractor Boys’ promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.

The 24-year-old featured 39 times during the following campaign as Kieran McKenna’s men secured back-to-back promotions.

After earning seven Premier League appearances for Town, Clarke joined promotion-chasing Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.
