Book now for CACT’s October Football Holiday Courses

-

Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) are delighted to offer football courses for young people in south east London and Kent during the upcoming October half-term break.

After attracting more than 1,000 participants during the summer break, CACT’s holiday courses will once again provide young people who are enthusiastic about football with an opportunity to develop their skills, when sessions return from Monday, October 27th until Friday, October 31st. Courses will run across three locations:

Sessions will also take place in Ashford at John Wallis Academy during the week prior to the above sessions.

All sessions are delivered by FA-qualified CACT coaches. Additionally, first-team players from both Charlton's men's and women's teams regularly visit the holiday courses in New Eltham, which gives aspiring players the chance to meet and learn from the professionals.

In New Eltham, CACT will also be running girls-only courses and a goalkeeper-specific course during the half-term break. As part of the girls-only offering, we will continue to run our two-day technical camp for girls aged 12 to 15. This course will run on Thursday and Friday during the October break, and focuses on 11-a-side technical and tactical coaching for older players looking to develop their game further. Courses for girls aged 7 to 11 will run throughout the week and will follow the same structure as CACT’s usual girls-only holiday courses.

Advanced Holiday Courses will also be returning in October after proving to be popular throughout the summer. These sessions offer a high-performance environment tailored to ambitious young footballers competing at Advanced Development Centre, JPL, Kent Youth League, or equivalent levels. Led by UEFA A and B licensed coaches, who have experience working in professional academies, sessions will target technical skills, tactical understanding, physical conditioning and in-game decision-making.
