Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) will be celebrated as part of the club’s community-themed matchday for the 2025/26 season, when Nathan Jones’ side welcome Southampton to The Valley on Saturday, November 22nd (KO 12:30pm GMT).
CACT have continued to go from strength to strength recently, having enjoyed further success alongside the club’s men’s and women’s first teams. During the 2024/25 campaign, CACT’s Youth Engagement Vehicle programme earned Charlton the League One Community Project of the Year award, recognising the safe and welcoming spaces these vehicles provide for young people.
Additionally, recent data for the financial year ending March 31st 2025 showed that CACT worked with more than 28,000 people through its wide range of programmes. Among these participants were over 1,100 people mentored across south-east London and Kent, while 85% of Young Greenwich Learning Hub participants reported improved educational aspirations. CACT also supported 3,170 referrals for cost of living support and distributed £13,660 worth of fuel voucher payments, demonstrating its continued commitment to a vision of healthy, happy, resilient and thriving communities.
Community Day will provide an opportunity to celebrate these achievements and highlight the wide-reaching impact of CACT’s work across our community.
On the day, a half-time parade of staff and participants from CACT's vast range of programmes will give supporters the chance to show their recognition.
More information on how you can support the work of CACT on Community Day, and all year round, will be announced ahead of the club’s game against the Saints. Details will also feature in Saturday’s Valley Review matchday programme, which can be purchased in and around the ground (card only) for £4.
