More than 500 students from local schools and community groups participated in Saturday’s annual Red, White and Black Day parade, a flagship celebration of unity and togetherness, which took place ahead of the club’s win against Sheffield Wednesday at The Valley.

Red, White and Black Day is a cornerstone of Charlton Athletic’s long-standing commitment to equality and inclusion, woven into the fabric of the club. A proud part of the club’s identity for more than 30 years, the initiative once again united players, fans, staff, partners and the wider community.

This year’s parade was delivered in partnership by the club, Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) and University of Greenwich. The parade began at Charlton Station and concluded at The Valley. It was led by Vice-Chairman Paul Elliott CBE MBE.

Charlton academy players joined the parade, while first-team players wore special Red, White and Black Day warm-up shirts ahead of kick-off, donated by club partner Reebok.
