Community Outreach Programmes

CACT staff in the community

Community outreach programmes are central to our work at Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT). Our Health Improvement advisors have a continuous presence in the borough, visiting events and public spaces, engaging with Royal Borough of Greenwich residents, signposting, booking and referring people to a whole range of community activities.

Campaigns and outreach activities are part of every heath service we offer. In the past, CACT has delivered national campaigns including Change4Life, Stoptober and COVID-19 vaccination.

The Health Improvement team has had a presence in many prominent locations including General Gordon Square in Woolwich, Eltham High Street and the University of Greenwich campus, and events such as the Get Together festival in Charlton Park.

CACT utilises a fully-branded Smart Car and three mobile exhibition trailers and can be part of daily outreach visits or manage the delivery of large-scale mobile roadshows.

Look out for our mobile unit and our friendly team around Royal Greenwich and come and see what we’re offering!
