Bromley Addicks host Holden and Hayes

The Bromley Addicks packed out the Royal British Legion Club in Petts Wood on Thursday evening for the visit of men’s first-team Manager Dean Holden and Coach Anthony Hayes.

More than 100 supporters attended the free event, with the pair taking questions from the floor for more than two hours.

Ian Wallis, Bromley Addicks Chair, said: “It was an absolutely brilliant evening with Dean and Anthony telling us all about the club. The room was packed and everybody in a very optimistic mood.

“I think supporters like to know what’s going on and there were a lot of questions asked, some of which they are unable to answer naturally. But they talked openly, and a lot of ground was covered.”

Holden added: “I love these events with the raw, open honesty from supporters. Some questions were better than others and some stuff you’re not able to talk about, especially in a transfer window.

“We got a great reception and people were standing at the back which shows you how committed people were to coming. It was a great event and I’d like to thank those that came. The more of these events the better because the fans want answers to certain things so the more we can open up and answer them, the better.”
