The Addicks will kick off their 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship campaign in front of the largest crowd for a home opener at The Valley in at least 16 years.
Attendances swelled at the end of last season, culminating with a special night in front of 25,722 supporters in the Sky Bet League One play-offs, followed by a wonderful play-off final win at Wembley as Nathan Jones’ side secured promotion to the second-tier in front of more than 40,000 Addicks.
That momentum has continued to build during the summer with record merchandise sales and already more season tickets sold that at any time in the last decade.
Tickets for Charlton’s home opener against Watford are selling quickly and nearly treble the amount sold for last season’s home opener, against Leyton Orient, at the same stage.
The Hornets are set to bring a sold-out away end to The Valley to add to the atmosphere within the stadium.
