Charlton to take over running of club shop

Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce that it will take over the running of the club shop from early July.

The club will also assume control of the shop’s online offering and distribution.

Charlton Managing Director James Rodwell said: “We’re really pleased to take over the club shop operation. The club shop coming under our umbrella will allow us to design and create items that match our fans’ needs both in the UK and overseas.

“As part of the changes the shop will be given an updated look and our focus will be on offering supporters a reliable, affordable service, with a wide variety of items available. A key part of this element will be to include supporters in the process.

“We know a key element for supporters will be the new kits for the 2024/25 campaign. In consultation with supporters, our kit supplier Castore have created some very nice kits for next season that I am sure our fans will enjoy.”

To help create merchandise that is interesting and relevant to supporters, the club will be setting up a working group which will include club shop staff and Fan Advisers Lucy Bishop and Lewis Catt. Fans can email website@cafc.co.uk to register their interest in joining the working group.
