Charlton academy graduate Dylan Gavin has joined National League South side Tonbridge Angels on loan until January.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a fruitful spell in the sixth tier with Billericay Town in the latter half of the 2021/22 season, scoring six goals in 16 league appearances and helped the Blues win the 2022 Essex Senior Cup, scoring an outrageous 35-yard volley to win the game 1-0 against Bowers & Pitsea.
The Republic of Ireland youth international made his first team debut for the Addicks in a 3-1 victory over Leyton Orient in the Papa’s John Trophy in November 2020 and signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2021.
Charlton fans can support the academy by signing up to the Valley Gold scheme. Valley Gold enables fans to support the club’s academy in unearthing the talents of tomorrow, as well as giving them the chance to win cash prizes.
