Academy Manager Greg Miller will join the Charlton Athletic Supporters’ Trust (CAST) for a Q&A session on Thursday, May 14th (7.30pm BST).
Miller will be joined by the Head of Education Joe Francis, who has worked within the club’s academy for over a decade. U18s midfielder Ed Thomas is also set to join ahead of their all-important matchday in SE7 on Friday.
The meeting is open to all CAST members, discussing the following:
- How the academy works
- What is the secret of its’ amazing success?
- What are the challenges?
- Is Category One status still a possibility?
- How do we prevent good young players from being poached?
- What does Championship status mean for the Academy?
- How is football progress balanced with academic work?
