Help CACT and Ardmore feed young people across Greenwich and Bexley this summer

Ardmore, a family-owned construction group, has once again teamed up with CACT to help fund meals for young people across our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) and educational tutoring programmes.

Just £7 allows us to provide a young person with both a nutritious breakfast and lunch on our programmes.

After a successful fundraising campaign last year, Ardmore, a family-owned construction group, has once again teamed up with Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) to help fund meals for young people across our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) and educational tutoring programmes.

The rising cost of living is increasing the number of families that are struggling to provide sufficient food for their children, especially during the school holidays.

CACT is running both our HAF and tutoring programmes this summer across Greenwich and Bexley. These programmes will supply two healthy, nutritious meals to disadvantaged young people attending the programmes, providing vital support to families and ensuring the young people are able to fully engage in a range of fun, active and educational activities.

Please support CACT to fund the cost of healthy, nutritious meals to help disadvantaged young people across our summer holiday camps and tutoring programmes throughout 2022.

All donations towards the campaign made between the 14th and 21st June will be matched by The Childhood Trust and CACT supporters, meaning double the amount we raise will go towards running the programmes.

Charlie Macdonald, CACT’s Director of Youth, Health, and Inclusion, said:

“We’re incredibly grateful to Ardmore and The Childhood Trust who are supporting the fundraising for our HAF and tutoring programmes.

“Having breakfast and a hot meal provided for the participants every day during the programme will make a huge difference to families in the local area.

“Please consider donating anything you can to help us provide local children with two healthy meals a day during our summer holiday programmes this year.”

Thomas Doherty, Ardmore's Senior Project Manager, said:

“Providing young people across Greenwich with access to healthy, nourishing meals during the summer holidays helps to feed tomorrow’s minds.

"Ardmore is proud to continue supporting CACT’s 2022 campaign to ensure that children in the borough don’t go hungry this summer.”

Just £7 allows us to provide a young person with both a nutritious breakfast and lunch on our programmes.

The fundraising campaign kicks off on Tuesday 14 June at 12pm, so please donate to help provide two nutritious meals for local children this summer.
