As the takeover of Charlton Athletic by SE7 Partners nears completion, Dean Holden explained he can feel an excitement around the club.

Speaking after his side’s 3-1 pre-season win at Gillingham, Holden said: “I think everybody’s excited by it. It’s a new era for the football club. There’s some great ideas and we’re really excited about getting working with the guys and moving this club exactly where we want to get it to.”
