Andy Hunt made a welcome return to The Valley for the Addicks’ recent 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion.

The former forward, who represented both clubs, was delighted to be back in SE7 to witness Sonny Carey's 95th-minute winner.

"I love coming back [to The Valley] and I love coming as a fan these days! Visiting Charlton is always extremely special for me," Hunt said.

The 55-year-old had heard plenty of positive things about The Valley faithful this season. "I've been hearing from a lot of Charlton friends and family that the atmosphere here this season has been amazing."

Hunt, now living in Amsterdam, keeps his Charlton connections strong.

"I live in Amsterdam, and I work with AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands. We hosted Charlton’s U21s and it was fantastic to have them and have them come out to us - they played a wonderful game.

"I love to help the club in any way I can, it’s a pleasure and an honour to be back!"

Claus Jensen is the next former player to return to The Valley on Saturday, November 22nd for the Addicks' clash against Southampton. Don't miss out, click here to purchase your Club 1905 package now!
