Nathan Jones is relishing his first home match in charge of Charlton against Lincoln City on Tuesday.

“Well last time I managed at The Valley Charlton won so I hope that happens!" said the boss. "It’s a great initiative by the club to boost attendance and it shows that we’re being really proactive in terms of generating an atmosphere.

"We have to then give a little bit back in terms of the performance and everything. For me, it will be a very proud moment to manage at The Valley for Charlton for the first time.”

Lincoln travel to the capital on the back of successive victories against Burton Albion and Fleetwood Town.

“What we have to do is concentrate on us and that’s the focus now: being the best version of ourselves, improving week in, week out and getting points," Jones explained.

"Sometimes these things take a little bit of time to gel and to play a different way and so on, but there’s a group there that want to get better, want to learn and there’s some talent in the group. It’s down to me now to build and manipulate that into a formula to get points. That’s the only thing that’s important now.”

Panutche Camará made his first appearance since October last weekend following a hamstring injury, while Chuks Aneke and Michael Hector are also progressing well.

“I want as many metaphorical headaches as I can in terms of having a lot of strong players available," said the Manager." We’ve got Chuks coming back, Panutche coming back and Hec’s not far off as well. It gives us real good depth and everyone else is fit so it’s a difficult choice to pick the 11 and just as difficult to pick the bench. We want those conundrums.”
