Karoy Anderson earns first senior Jamaica call-up

Academy graduate Karoy Anderson has received a first senior call-up for the Jamaica national team.

The 19-year-old, who joined Charlton at U9 level, signed a new long-term contract with the club in August and has made eight league appearances for the first team already this season, recording two assists.

Michael Hector has also been named in the Reggae Boyz squad for the upcoming international break. The centre-back has made 35 appearances for Jamaica to date.

Meanwhile, fellow defenders Terell Thomas and James Abankwah have been called up by Saint Lucia and Ireland U21s.

The quartet will link up with their respective nations following this weekend's fixture against Blackpool at The Valley.
