Charlton return to Sky Bet League One action on Saturday with a trip to Bolton Wanderers.

The Addicks travel to the University of Bolton Stadium enjoying a five-game unbeaten run across all competitions.

Speaking in his Friday press conference, Ben Garner confirmed Conor McGrandles and Corey Blackett-Taylor have both been training, while Steven Sessegnon has also been out on the grass and Ryan Inniss will be assessed.

Mandela Egbo (knee) and Chuks Aneke (calf) are progressing well with their respective recoveries.

Declan John (calf) and Jón Dadi Bödvarsson (hamstring) are set to miss out for the hosts, while new recruit Owen Beck will be assessed having joined Wanderers on a season-long loan from Liverpool on Wednesday.

THE OPPOSITION

Bolton currently sit 10th in Sky Bet League One with eight points from their six league outings to date.

Ian Evatt's men fell to a 2-0 defeat at Plymouth Argyle last time out in league action, while their last home league game resulted in a 2-0 reverse to Sheffield Wednesday.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Bolton have gone toe-to-toe on 93 previous occasions, with the Addicks winning 29, the Whites 44 and the remaining 20 games resulting in draws.

The last meeting between the two sides came at the University of Bolton Stadium in February. Aneke cancelled out Dion Charles' early opener 14 minutes from time to draw Charlton level, only for Will Aimson to head home seven minutes later to earn the hosts a 2-1 win.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Tom Reeves will be the man in the middle on Saturday afternoon. The official last refereed a Charlton fixture in December 2021 - a 2-0 FA Cup win at Gateshead.

Reeve will be assisted by David Avent and Mark Cunliffe, while Darren Drysdale is the Fourth Official.
