Karen Hills’ side will look to return to winning ways as they host Birmingham City this Sunday at The Valley (KO 2 pm GMT).
The Addicks were defeated in a seven-goal derby day thriller as Charlton hosted London City Lionesses at the Oakwood. Goals from the skipper Simpkins, Folis and Henson weren’t enough for the Addicks as a Lily Agg strike deep into the second half separated the sides.
Charlton’s loss to London City Lionesses means the Addicks currently sit in fourth place, just one point behind Sunday’s opposition.
The visitors head into Sunday’s fixture off the back of a 4-0 win away to Sunderland, a dominative display and goals from Scott, Wilson, Hodson and Finn meant that Birmingham walked away with a deserved three points.
