Alfie May has been shortlisted for Sky Bet League One's Player of the Month award for October.
Charlton’s number nine scored seven goals in his six league appearances across the month, including braces against Exeter City and Wigan Athletic.
May is bidding to win the prize for the third time in his career having previously picked up the prize in February 2022 and March 2023 while with Cheltenham Town.
He is up against Carlisle United’s Jordan Gibson, Wycombe Wanderers’ Luke Leahy and Portsmouth’s Conor Shaughnessy for the accolade, with the winner announced on Friday, November 10th.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
