One Goal back for February half-term

The free L&Q One Goal programme has returned to Bexley and Greenwich for the February half-term break, after an extremely successful 2016 in which it engaged more than 9,000 young people aged 5-21 in London.

Charlton Athletic Community Trust will be leading the programme in the Bexley and Greenwich area at a number of locations.

One Goal is a sports and creative arts programme that motivates young people to be physically active, make healthy lifestyle choices and enjoy creative pursuits during the school holidays.

It is being delivered by nine professional football clubs across the capital, including Charlton Athletic, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Leyton Orient, Millwall, QPR, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham.

The project is being funded by the L&Q Foundation with a grant, which ensures all activities are free and that there is no financial barrier for young people to get involved.

The One Goal programme sessions will include multisport, street dance, cookery, design your own T-shirts/Caps, reptile and exotic bird experiences, DJ workshops, martial arts, boxing & self-defence, superheroes & princesses fancy dress up, creative gardening and bouncy castles.
