The Addicks will travel to Reading on Saturday, August 1st (3pm BST) as part of their pre-season schedule.
Ticket information for the trip to the Select Car Leasing Stadium will be announced in due course.
The friendly is the fourth of the Addicks’ pre-season fixtures to be confirmed following the curtain-raising trip to Dartford at Princes Park and visits to Gillingham and AFC Wimbledon.
Confirmed 2026/27 pre-season fixtures:
Dartford v Charlton - Friday, July 3rd (7.45pm)
Gillingham v Charlton - Saturday, July 18th (3pm)
AFC Wimbledon v Charlton - Saturday, July 25th (3pm)
Reading v Charlton - Saturday, August 1st (3pm)
