Sonny Carey's solo strike against Ipswich Town has been named Charlton Athletic's Goal of the Month for October.
The in-form midfielder, who was chosen as the winner by Steve Brown during Saturday's CharltonTV production, opened the scoring in the Addicks' outstanding 3-0 win at Portman Road with a fine goal.
Carey picked up a loose ball just inside the Ipswich half and showed great pace and power to confidently drive forward. After shaping to shoot with his right foot, he created enough room to drive a low, left-footed shot past Christian Walton.
