Charlton Athletic are delighted to confirm that goalkeeper Sophie Whitehouse has penned a new long-term contract.
Whitehouse, who has eight clean sheets and three British Gas Save of the Month awards so far this season, has signed a new contract until June 2027.
After putting pen to paper, Whitehouse said: "I am super excited, it's a dream. It's been an incredible season for us this year."
"Going unbeaten in the games that we did and going top of the table, and getting to the Quarter Final of the FA Cup. It's all been amazing," she added.
"We have an amazing opportunity, we have sat top of the table for a while, teams are chasing us, and we have some big games coming up. So, there is so much more to come."
Whitehouse has been a mainstay in Karen Hills' side this season, and her impressive performances have earned her a new contract as Charlton Athletic Women chase promotion to the WSL.
The Addicks are next in action on Sunday, April 5th, as they host Liverpool in the FA Cup Quarter Final (KO 2.30pm GMT). Don't miss out, get your tickets now!
