Support Charlton and give back with every purchase

Charlton4Good

Charlton Athletic are giving back! Support the Addicks and help raise funds for grassroots teams, schools and charities when you make your purchase.

The club is proud to announce our new #Charlton4Good initiative, which sees local grassroots, schools and charities benefit when supporters make purchases with the club.

With each purchase*, fans are able to enter a code of their charity/grassroots team of choice. As part of the #Charlton4Good campaign, registered organisations receive 10% of what was paid for the ticket.

The announcement comes following news that ticket prices have been reduced for the remainder of 2022.

Clare Sadlier, a lifelong Addick who works with the Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust, is assisting with implementing the initiative. She said: “At a time when many grassroots clubs and charities are suffering financially, particularly with the after effects of the pandemic, this unique opportunity for organisations to raise funds by helping bring fans along to The Valley offers a way for them to benefit simply by sharing their codes to their friends and family and on their social media.

"With 10% going directly back to clubs, schools and charities, this will ultimately benefit more children in our communities through access to sports and activities, improving facilities and funding specific projects. With a lot of families facing financial hardship many organisations will use this funding to help those in need to enable their children to continue to train and play."

The initiative provides an opportunity for grassroots teams to raise funds for key items and longer-term projects from kits and goals to facilities hire, equipment, pitch improvements, clubhouse renovations, LED floodlights, changing room maintenance, training for coaches and improving accessibility at grounds.

Grant Jeffreys said: “The Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust are pleased to be involved in the Charlton4Good initiative with our supporters already using our code from our Twitter and Facebook pages.

"We’re grateful to have received some funding already which will be used for projects we run helping families impacted by childhood cancer - including Jack’s Christmas Stockings which we drop off to local hospitals each year for those spending Christmas away from home during treatment. The money will also help us fund Jack’s VIP Experience where we host families at The Valley. This gives families the chance to spend a day at football in a safe environment to make memories and have some much needed respite while cheering on Charlton.”

Already, more than 65 organizations have registered. See below for a list of the schools, charities and grassroots teams involved during the initial phase of this campaign.
