U18 CUP REPORT | Bristol City 1 Charlton 0

'

Charlton’s U18s suffered a narrow defeat against Bristol City in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday night.

Brandon Bak produced the match-winning moment for the hosts with just 15 minutes remaining. Having got Henry Kasvosve’s cross under his spell, the substitute swivelled sent a left-footed effort beyond goalkeeper Jude Sadler.

That ultimately proved to be the difference between the two sides at the Robins High Performance Centre, with Bristol City now set to host Burnley in the fifth round of the competition.

The young Addicks return to league action on Saturday, January 27th, hosting Swansea City at Sparrows Lane (KO 11am).

Charlton: Sadler; Hunter, Gough (c), Okwumo; Rylah, Mwamba, Wales (Sol-Loza 87), Fullah (Safa 62), Enslin; Casey, Mbick

Subs (not used): Woodham, Cann, Brown, Berry, Reid
