U18 PREVIEW | Birmingham City v Charlton

'

Charlton U18s’ biggest game of the season is rapidly approaching, as Jason Pearce’s side prepare to face Birmingham City in the Professional Development League Two play-off final on Saturday (KO 1pm BST).

Supporters can attend the match at the Birmingham County FA Headquarters, with tickets priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions. Fans can also live stream the game for free on Birmingham's YouTube channel by clicking here here

It is a second play-off final appearance in two years for the young Addicks, who were beaten on penalties by Barnsley last season.

But having got their revenge in this year’s semi-final, in which they beat the Tykes 5-3 last weekend, Pearce’s youngsters are full of belief that they can go one better this time around.

Saturday’s success means Charlton have won seven in a row and are unbeaten since mid-March. It is the fourth year in a row that the U18s have won the PDL2-South title.

Deadly duo Patrick Casey and Micah Mbick extended their impressive goalscoring records last weekend and now sit on 44 and 43 goals for the season respectively.
