Charlton’s U18s suffered their first league defeat of 2024 on Saturday as Cardiff City ran out 5-0 victors at Sparrows Lane.

Jake Davies gave the visitors the lead within four minutes and Daniel Barton added a second from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark.

Tanatswa Nyakuhwa made it three moments after the break and that was followed by strikes from Trey George and substitute Mannie Barton for a clinical Cardiff side.

The U18s are next in action on Tuesday, March 22nd, making the short trip to Millwall (KO 11am).
