U18 REPORT | Charlton 2 Brentford 0

'

Charlton's U18s got back to winning ways on Saturday, as they beat Brentford's U18s 2-0 in the PDL.

Raynon Richman opened the scoring for the Addicks on 22 minutes, after some excellent build up-play from Charlton.

The ball was fed out to Richman on the right-hand side, who danced his way through the Brentford defence and cooly slotted the ball into the net.

Jason Pearce's side were a goal to the good at the break.

Shia-Lee Burnham doubled the team's advantage late in the second half.

Marley Dawkins laid the ball off into Burnham in midfield, who showed pace and power to get beyond the Brentford defence and put the game out of sight for the young Addicks.

Pearce’s side return to action on Saturday afternoon as they host Bristol City (KO 12pm GMT).
