Charlton's U21s saw their 11-game unbeaten run come to an end on Friday evening, as the young Addicks were beaten 3-0 by Swansea City on the road.
Thomas Woodward opened the scoring for the hosts inside 13 minutes. The Swans doubled their lead just moments after, as Daniel Watts got on the scoresheet.
Trailing 2-0 at the break, the young Addicks dominated possession in the second half but were unable to find a breakthrough, with their best effort coming back off the woodwork.
Morgan Bates extended the Swans’ lead on 90 minutes to make it 3-0, bringing Charlton’s impressive unbeaten run to an end.
