Ahead of Tuesday's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Middlesbrough, The Valley paid tribute to one of the Addicks' most loyal and recognisable faces, Norman Barker.
A true beacon of the Addicks faithful, Norman was affectionately known by fans as ‘Headphones Norm’ and was a constant at every game up and down the country for 40 years.
Players, staff and supporters all left tributes behind the Covered End and there was an emotional period of applause ahead of kick-off in celebration of Norman's life.
The club will work with Norman’s family and supporters on a permanent form of recognition, while a book of condolences will be available in the club reception from the start of next week.
