While we probably know who has September’s Goal of the Month award already sorted (hint, this one from Ricky Holmes), voting opened today on the Charlton Athletic Goal of the Month for August. The nominees are:
- Josh Magennis for his powerful header in the club’s 4-1 destruction of Northampton Town
- Ricky Holmes for a beautifully worked goal with Billy Clarke in that win against Northampton
- Jake Forster-Caskey for a wonderful curling effort against Northampton
- Patrick Bauer for his perfectly placed header in the Addicks 2-0 win away to Rotherham
