Tickets for Charlton Quiz Night in aid of Prostate Cancer UK on sale

Tickets for February's Charlton Quiz Night in aid of Prostate Cancer UK are now on sale.

Hosted by Sky Sports' Scott Minto, the event is being hosted at The Marriott Hotel in Bexleyheath on Monday, February 26th (7-10pm) and is set to be a fun-filled evening.

A host of former Charlton greats and Karl Robinson and his backroom staff will be competing, giving fans the chance to test their pub-quiz knowledge against them.

As well as containing familiar pub-quiz rounds, such as a music and sport, the quiz will also feature special Charlton rounds including a picture round and what-happens-next round.

Tickets for the event are priced at £10 per person and one hundred per cent of ticket sales will be donated to Prostate Cancer UK. Tickets can be purchased online, in person from the Valley Superstore or by phone.

Charlton supporters are encouraged to enter teams of up to 10 people but smaller teams and individuals are also more than welcome to attend and compete. On the night, fans will be asked to give £1 per team member to the prize pot.

Charlton's Player Liaison Officer Tracey Leaburn, whose father passed away from Prostate Cancer, said: "This charity is obviously very close to my heart, and myself and the Charlton team that are cycling to Amsterdam are all working very hard to make this event a great success.

"As a team, we have to raise £18,000 in sponsorship and we hope that all Charlton supporters can get behind us for what is set to be a fun night for a great cause."

Prostate Cancer UK's annual London to Amsterdam bike ride will see 18 members of staff from the club and Charlton Athletic Community Trust - as well as Minto, Bolder and Nelson - take part in the 145-mile cycle.

Twelve supporters will also be cycling to the continent, meaning that 'Team Addicks' is made up of no fewer than 30 people.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, affecting one in eight white men and one in four black men. It's a huge issue that cannot be ignored. One man will die from prostate cancer every 45 minutes in the UK, which equates to over 11,000 men a year. Based on current trends, this number will rise to over 14,500 men a year by 2026 if nothing is done.

Supporters who are unable to attend the event who would like to donate to Team Addicks can do so by clicking here
