Charlton Athletic are looking to bring in a striker to after the departure of Karlan Grant, who joined Huddersfield Town yesterday.
The transfer window closes at 11pm tonight [Thursday] and the club’s Head of Recruitment Steve Gallen believes he could be working close to the deadline.
He said: “As everyone will be aware, we are looking to bring in a striker before the transfer window closes. We’ve been working hard, we have our targets and things are progressing. We anticipate it could be a late finish this evening.”
So far this transfer window, the Addicks have signed Jonny Williams, Chris Maxwell and Ben Purrington.
