The FA have informed Charlton Athletic that Lee Bowyer has received a touchline ban following his sending-off at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. The FA have provided the club with the following statement.
"Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer will serve a three-match touchline ban after using abusive and/or insulting language towards the match referee in both the 46th minute and following his dismissal during the EFL fixture against AFC Wimbledon on 23 February. He has also been fined £1,750."
The ban begins for tomorrow's game against Doncaster Rovers with Bowyer also banned for the home games against Portsmouth (March 9th) and Burton Albion (March 12th).
