PRE-SEASON PREVIEW | Ebbsfleet United v Charlton

Charlton’s pre-season campaign continues with the short trip to Ebbsfleet United on Tuesday evening (7.30pm).

Following Saturday’s 2-0 victory at Welling United, Lee Bowyer will step up the amount of minutes his players will get under their belt with the squad being broken up into 60 and 30-minute runouts between the game at the Kuflink Stadium and Wednesday night’s trip to Dagenham & Redbridge.

Some of the Addicks’ U23s, who impressed at Park View Road at the weekend, will once again top-up Charlton’s squad for the midweek friendlies, while goalkeeper Ben Amos could receive his first runout since returning to the club on a permanent basis on Monday.

Fellow summer signings Macauley Bonne, Tom Lockyer, Chuks Aneke and Ben Purrington are also likely to be on show at the Kuflink Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The hosts, meanwhile, have three pre-season games under their belts having beaten K Sports 4-3, before sharing a 1-1 draw with Dartford a week ago and drawing 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur U23s on Saturday.

Last season saw the Fleet finish in eighth position in the National League under Garry Hill, one place below the play-offs and include a familiar face in their ranks in the form of former Valley favourite Lawrie Wilson. Ebbsfleet’s squad also includes former Addicks academy players Ayo Obileye, Myles Weston and Aswad Thomas.

Tickets for the match are available on the door priced £10 adults, £7 concessions £5 ages 12-16 and £1 U12s.

If you cannot make it to the match, you can watch all the action live on Valley Pass.

Valley Pass costs just £6.50 per month or £60 for the year and you can sign-up here.
