ITRM extend partnership with Charlton Athletic Community Trust for the sixth year

ITRM, a privately-owned IT managed service provider based in Sidcup, has renewed its partnership as Principle Partner of CACT for another year, which will see the ITRM logo on front of all kit worn by CACT staff and affiliated football teams.

Jason Morgan MBE, CACT Chief Executive, said;

“We are delighted that ITRM is continuing its partnership with CACT. ITRM’s support makes a huge difference to CACT’s work at the heart of the community; as well as being CACT’s Principal Partner, ITRM staff support CACT throughout the year by volunteering and taking part in fundraising events such as the Upbeats Walk and Big Half.

CACT couldn’t do what it does without its partners, so I would like to personally thank everyone at ITRM for all they do and are continuing to do for CACT.”

Dave White, ITRM’s Managing Director, said: “ITRM are proud to continue our sponsorship of Charlton Athletic Community Trust. Our reason for doing so remains the same today as it was when we started six years ago. Our companies share the same core values and our approach to our customers and staff are reflected in all we do.

“Throughout our sponsorship we have had a very active engagement with CACT via our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. Every staff member at ITRM is able to take time off to join the programs helping people in the local community. ITRM staff are very enthusiastic about their participation and I love that our commitment to our community goes way beyond just being a policy, it is engrained in our corporate ethos.

“We have entered into this agreement with CACT as a way of demonstrating that we are genuine in everything we do, both with our staff and our customers. Supporting the ground-breaking work of CACT is the perfect partnership for us as this is about ITRM doing what is right in our community and living our values every day. This is what defines us and separates us from the competition.

He added: ''Jason Morgan continues to build an impressive organisation. The Trustees remain fully committed to helping CACT achieve their goals and the staff are truly exceptional, a credit to themselves and their families, a credit to CACT and a credit to our community."

The Charlton Athletic Community Trust’s initiative began when the football club returned to The Valley in 1992.

It started with just one member of staff, a bag of footballs and a telephone and has now grown into an organisation that employs 100 permanent staff, has a pool of over 100 casual coaches and engages with thousands of people on a weekly basis.

Famed for its work within the community, the trust has scooped a number of awards throughout the years as it continues to be a credit to both the club and those who work for them.
