Following the success of our inaugural FIFA21 tournament earlier this month, the club are delighted to announce the official launch of its first ever e-Sports team.
As such, the club are looking to hold trials to find the best players possible to represent the club in the forthcoming e-Sports season. Taking on a range of other professional club’s e-Sports teams, this is your chance to represent Charlton Athletic on the big stage.
Unlike our tournament, this will be 11 v 11 on Pro Clubs, so there will be some certain criteria that needs to be filled before you can enter the trials.
The outline of the trials are as follows:
· The team will initially be playing on PS4 exclusively. Depending upon the success of the team, we would look to launch an Xbox side later
· We will need to know what position you’ll want to play in
· What your Pro rating is
To enter for the trials, all you have to do is follow and message the @CAFCEsports on Twitter with the above details. Trials will take place this weekend, Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th, at 7.30pm. More details will be provided upon entering the trials.
