Greenwich and Bexley Hospice selected as Giving Tree 2020 recipient

Supporters were given the chance to nominate which charity they would like to support alongside Charlton Athletic Community Trust with the club's annual Giving Tree campaign.

There were a number of fantastic charity suggestions over the last few days, with Greenwich and Bexley Hospice being selected as the most popular.

For a COVID-secure approach for the Giving Tree this year, fans are invited to donate online here to support. Due to the current guidelines, fans will not be able to donate physical gifts, so this alternative approach will allow fans to give back to the community this Christmas, in a safe way.

The donations will be open until Friday, December 4th. The money generated will then be spent purchasing toys for the Charlton Athletic Community Trust recipients, and appropriate gifts for Greenwich and Bexley hospice.

Although our approach has had to change this year to work in line with government guidelines, we hope you will still join us in making a difference this Christmas for two fantastic charities.

The money raised will be split equally between the two charities, and will be converted into gifts before being donated.

On behalf of everyone at Charlton Athletic, we would like to thank you for your continued support, and the incredible impact your donations will have for both Charlton Athletic Community Trust and Greenwich and Bexley Hospice.
