Brown and Shirtliff to star on CharltonTV for Fleetwood

Steve Brown and Peter Shirtliff will be starring on CharltonTV when the Addicks head to Fleetwood Town on Saturday (3pm KO BST).

Brown - who is normally stationed in the commentary box on matchdays - will be swapping his regular commentary position for one in the CharltonTV studio, presented by DNEL Ltd, for one weekend only.

As a result, Shirtliff will be stepping in to fill Brown's shoes in the commentary box. Shirtliff - who played more than 100 games for the club in the late 1980s - will be joining Greg Stubley at Highbury Stadium to provide co-commentary of Saturday's crucial encounter.

In the studio on Saturday, Brown, Scott Minto and Alan Curbishley will look back at Tuesday's defeat to Bolton, will hear exclusively from Addicks legend John Robinson and, in the brand-new feature, Brown will pick his all-time Charlton five-aside team.

Fans can watch the whole build up live on the club’s YouTube and Twitter channels anywhere in the world.

Only fans outside of the UK* & Ireland can use the CharltonTV app or to watch the build-up – and the match itself – on CharltonTV, due to EFL broadcast regulations.

To confirm, if you are in the UK* or Ireland, you can only watch the build-up to the match by heading to the club’s YouTube or Twitter channels.
