Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce a new six-figure, multi-year partnership with Christopher Ward, the UK’s leading mechanical watch brand.
As part of the agreement, Christopher Ward will become the club’s Official Time and Sleeve Partner, with their logo proudly displayed on the sleeve of the men’s first-team shirt.
Commercial Director, Alice Larkworthy, said: “We’re thrilled to announce this partnership. It’s a testament to where we are as a club and the ambition we have moving forward that we’re in a position to partner with Christopher Ward, a growing international brand.
"Their global reach will support us as we continue to grow as a football club, and we’re really pleased that they share our community-driven focus. They’re excited by the size and passion of our fanbase and are keen to support the incredible work of Charlton Athletic Community Trust.
“Christopher Ward are joining us at an exciting time for the club, ahead of our return to the Sky Bet Championship. They have some really interesting plans for the partnership, which we think our fans will enjoy, so we’re looking forward to working closely with them."
Mike France, CEO and co-founder of Christopher Ward, added: "Charlton is a club with deep roots in its community and a proud history of resilience and passion. As a brand headquartered minutes from Greenwich - the home of time - we’re thrilled to be celebrating the concept of precision, performance, and innovation with a club whose values and ambitions align so closely with our own."
Founded in 2004, Christopher Ward disrupted the traditional watch industry by becoming the first premium watch brand to launch exclusively online. They create meticulously crafted British-designed, Swiss-made mechanical watches, offering exceptional quality at prices designed to make them accessible to a wider audience.
The Christopher Ward logo will make its debut on a Charlton kit this Saturday, when the Addicks host Watford at The Valley in front of what is expected to be the largest attendance at a Charlton home opener in at least 17 years.
