Vice-Chairman Paul Elliott CBE MBE is looking forward to the Unity Cup being hosted at The Valley.
SE7 is set to host the competition for the first time since 2004, with the national teams of Nigeria, Jamaica, Zimbabwe and India all taking part.
"Our home in Charlton is a natural fit for the Unity Cup," explained Elliott.
"What we do extremely well is our EDI work and that is part of the attraction. Promoting equality, tackling discrimination, and our total history in this football club, we are an EDI community club.
"I saw some highlights from the initial Unity Cup from back in 2004. It was a festival, a carnival, and I think what the Unity Cup brings is great rivalry, great culture and great friendship. It brings competitiveness between the nations," he added.
"We encourage people to come along. When I was discussing the prospect of the Unity Cup, I said that the demographic we have here in our local community, multi-cultural, multi-racial, multi-diverse and multi-faith."
"Our aim with the EFL is to diversify our fanbase, I think the Unity Cup gives us a great opportunity to tap into that wider demographic from all other areas of London. Let them come into the home of Charlton, where they will feel safe, valued and welcome."
"It is a great international competition, to support and get behind. We are proud to be the host of this great, prestigious competition."
"We have some Charlton players that are representative of the Jamaican demographic. Charlton is a great fit; it will be a great week of football and some great talent on show. I urge our fans to come and watch. It will be a different experience but a very good experience, it is a celebration of diversity and international football."
