Executive Box donated to Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust

Charlton Athletic have donated an Executive Box to the Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust for a number of games each season that will allow the charity to offer children with cancer or other life threatening/limiting conditions the opportunity to enjoy a VIP experience at The Valley.

The Superhero Trust was set up in memory of Charlton fan Jack Jeffreys, who passed away, aged just four, on this day in 2018 after being diagnosed with stage four Neuroblastoma nearly a year earlier.

The trust, founded by Jack’s parents Grant and Katie, raises funds to help children with cancer and other life threatening/limiting illnesses in the form of different projects both in hospital and with experiences out of hospital.

Chairman of the club’s board Gavin Carter said: "As a supporter, I was deeply moved by Jack’s story. As Chairman, I’ve been fortunate to get to know Grant and have seen firsthand the strength and love that surrounds Jack’s memory. I’m committed to making sure every aspect of our club vision is realised, and Jack was every bit a part of our Charlton community. Honouring him in this way, while creating a space for families facing similar challenges, is one small but meaningful way for Jack’s legacy, and his connection to Charlton, to live on.”
